We are looking for our New Business Director to join the BeInfluence Europe team in Brussels !

As our New Business Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to attract and win new clients for BeInfluence Europe in the Benelux. Your primary goal will be to grow our client portfolio by identifying business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and closing new deals. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure that our sales efforts align with the broader business strategy, positioning BeInfluence Europe as the go-to agency for influencer marketing in Europe.

This senior role is critical to our growth, requiring an experienced business development leader with a proven track record of securing high-profile clients and generating substantial revenue growth.

Mission

Your main mission will be to grow BeInfluence Europe’s client portfolio and continue to position the agency as a key player in the Benelux and European ecosystems !

  • Business Development Strategy and Client Acquisition: Design and implement a robust new business development strategy that identifies and targets high-potential clients  and industries across the Benelux. Proactively seek out new business opportunities through networking, industry events, and direct outreach, building a strong pipeline  of potential clients.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at prospective client organizations, positioning BeInfluence Europe  as their preferred influencer marketing partner.
  • Pitching & Proposals: Lead the creation of compelling pitches and strategic and creative recommendations (always with the help of our creative strategy and account management departments), showcasing the unique value BeInfluence offers and tailoring our approach to meet client-specific needs.
  • Sales Leadership and collaborative sales: Drive the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and deal closure, ensuring a seamless and professional process at every stage. Work closely with the marketing and account teams to ensure a smooth handover of new clients and alignment  on client needs and expectations.
  • Market Intelligence: Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to adjust strategies and stay ahead of market changes.
  • Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through effective pipeline management and deal closing.

You’ll be a member of the strategic steering group of the agency and endorse a representation role alongside other key employees.

Requirements

Your super wo-man profile:

Sales Leadership and Strategic Mindset: You demonstrated success in closing high-value deals and acquiring top-tier clients, with a consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets. You have strong strategic thinking with the ability to identify business opportunities and develop creative solutions to meet client needs.

Communication & Negotiation Skills: You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and pitch to senior stakeholders and negotiate effectively to close deals. You are a natural connector, with the ability to build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients and partners.

Industry Knowledge: You have a solid understanding of influencer marketing, digital marketing, and media trends, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales strategies.

Collaborative Leader: You are a team player who can work cross-functionally with marketing, account management, and leadership teams to achieve shared goals.

  • You already have at least 5 years of experience as a New Business Director / New Business Manager / new business-focused Client Manager or Director in an influencer / PR / Social Media / Content or advertising agency.
  • You are bilingual either in French - English or in Dutch - English and speaking a third language is a big plus.
